I believe that my career as a REALTOR© is an extension of my commitment to public service that has evolved from my 22 year career with the LAPD, from which I retired as a captain.
I am currently the President of the Board of Directors of the LAPD’s Devonshire PALS, a non-profit youth center that focuses on the community’s at-risk juveniles through its educational, cultural, athletic, and social activities. The center is dependent upon private donations and grants for its funding. Please consider becoming a donor or a volunteer. Feel free to contact me anytime to find out how.
My commitment to the community also includes my status as the immediate past president of the Chatsworth/Porter Ranch Chamber of Commerce. I am currently an active member of that Chamber’s Board of Directors. Similarly, I serve on the Board of Directors of the United Chambers of Commerce of the San Fernando Valley.
I am also an active member of the Board of Directors of the Our Community School, a LAUSD charter school here in Chatsworth.
I believe, too, that I have a moral responsibility to ensure the integrity of my profession. Consequently, I am a voting member of the Southland Association of Realtors’ Grievance Committee, where I review allegations of misconduct involving real estate brokers and agents. In the past I have served on the Association’s MLS Rules Committee and on its Governmental Affairs Committee.
It is not enough to be a member of the community. I believe you have to work to make the community better. That is my credo and that is my commitment to you.
